.credit domain price

Registration, renewal and transfer prices for .credit, in USD, re-checked daily. Registry wholesale is about $80.00 per year, so the last column is what each registrar adds on top. Machine-readable: current · history.

Scheduled rise: .credit goes to $94.00 on 2026-10-06.

Is renewing early worth it?

.credit goes from $82.90 to $94.00 a year at Porkbun on 2026-10-06 — 1 days away. ICANN’s Base Registry Agreement (§2.10(b)) obliges the registry to sell your registrar up to ten years at the pre-increase price right up to that moment, so the lock is real rather than a loophole.

—cash committed today
—increases avoided
—years you must keep it

This is a prepayment, not a discount. Registry fees are non-refundable and do not follow a domain you sell, so prepaid years only save money on domains you would have renewed anyway — the third figure is the point where the trade stops being a loss. The ten-year cap runs from today, not from when you registered, so a domain with three years left can add at most seven. §2.10(b) fixes what your registrar pays the registry; it does not oblige your registrar to pass the saving on, and a registrar that has already repriced saves you nothing. Premium and legacy-tier names are excluded from uniform renewal pricing and can behave differently. Figures ignore the ICANN fee, tax, and what your money could earn elsewhere.

Between the registrars tracked here, .credit ranges from $80.20 at Cloudflare Registrar to $84.21 — a difference of $4.01 a year, 5%. Moving a domain is how that gap gets claimed.

Renewing a domain you already own cannot be linked to from outside — it needs your account session — so those links open each registrar's own page for .credit. Moving to a cheaper registrar is a transfer, which extends the expiry you already have by one year at the new registrar's price. It is normally blocked for 60 days after registration and after a previous transfer. None of these links earns this site anything today — see disclosure.

If you let it expire

Recovering a lapsed .credit costs $230.40 at Dynadot — a restore fee, not a renewal, and 2.9× the cheapest renewal above. The redemption window is 30 days by Dynadot's reckoning, then 5 more before the name is deleted. Dynadot is the only registrar tracked here that publishes this figure, so it is one registrar's price rather than a market rate — the rest are here.
