260 rises are scheduled. An email 30 days before, and again at 14 days, for the TLDs you care about — enough notice to renew at the old price if it is worth it.

Double opt-in: nothing is sent until you click the link in a confirmation email, so nobody can subscribe your address but you. Your address is stored to send these alerts and nothing else — never sold, never shared — and the unsubscribe link in every message deletes the row rather than flagging it.
