The domain industry, in data

Three things nobody else keeps as structured data: the 2026 round of new top-level domains, the price rises registries have already scheduled, and what registrars actually charge day to day.

9 days until the Reveal Day ceiling 14 October 2026 — when ICANN has committed to publishing every 2026 gTLD application. ICANN has not named the actual date. It expects to announce it in mid-September 2026; nine weeks after the window closed is the deadline it set itself. How we know →

Next milestone: ICANN names Reveal Day, mid-September 2026.

371 increases have already landed since we began collecting notices. A registry that raised prices in each of the last two years is worth watching for a third.
